Well…. Where to start!!! What an end to the year it has been. I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of two amazing gigs at the Sheffield City Hall. One singing backing vocals for the house band for the Women of Steel concert. This gig was a massive deal for me, to share the stage with such incredible musicians and so many great artists was such an honor and an experience I’ll never forget. Not to mention the gig was in aid of such a great cause.
The other was being part of the ‘Boy on a Dolphin band’ which again was an absolutely fantastic experience. I’ve always loved singing to an audience, and the audience for that gig were amazing. There was such a brilliant atmosphere and it really was a fantastic night.
As well as gigging I have been busy planning my upcoming EP that should be released in the spring of 2014. I’ve not just been writing and recording but I’ve also done other really fun stuff such as photo shoots! Which were incredibly nerve racking for me… I don’t think I’ve ever panicked about what to wear so much in my life! But once I got over that initial anxiety, I found myself really enjoying it.
The past 3 months have been a massive chapter in my life, so much has happened! I am really starting to feel part of the team and the family at The Steelworks Academy, and I would just like to say a massive thank you to El and the team who have really helped me over the past few months!
